Slay the Pink Petal Trend This Summer

Summer is coming and warm colours are here to stay. My favourite way to rock the trend? Wearing pink! This colour is back and it cheers me up. Sunnies, coat and scrunchie, it’s never too much. I call the pink hue of the season petal pink because it recalls the various pink shades of a rose.

Here are three ways to slay pink petal:

1. Sunnies

I found this cool pair on sale. It is from a Nordic brand called Chimi. Bonus: they go with everything! There is a saying in French that says “voir la vie en rose” which means “see the world in pink”. With these sunglasses it is literally possible.

2. Scrunchie

It’s hot outside? Going out for a chic night? This pink scrunchie is your go- to. I like to do a half bun or a half pony with it. It’s even more fun paired with my pink sunnies.

3. Coat

When the wind blows, a nice posh coat is always welcome. My parents gifted me this beautiful one from an independent French brand. It’s cotton-made, and has little blue and green stripes to bring spice to it.
