How to be trendy this spring

Suits

Whether you are heading to work or going out with friends, the tuxedo look is this season’s go-to. You can rock the trend à la Saint Laurent with a black suit or choose a bright hue like an orange or a fuschia piece. (Picture below A.W.A.K.E mode show courtesy Vogue business).

Vichy

The Vichy pattern coined by French designer Carven is back into fashion. I especially like the trend on skirts/ dresses. Red, blue, black how will you wear the trend? (Outfit from Rosie Assoulin courtesy of Vogue Runway).

Tweed

The pattern popularised by Coco Chanel is back! You can wear the design on a skirt and pair it with a jacket and rock a total look.

Stripes

Coco Chanel brought this design into the fashion world in 1919 and it was later adopted by designers Jean Paul Gaultier and Sonia Rykiel. Vertical stripes are especially fashionable (see picture below during the Bibhu Mohabatra show – credits: Vogue runway)

Arty vibes

YSL x Picasso inherited geometrical shapes filled the runway. Constructed or more abstract the possibilities are endless (picture below an outfit from the Mara Hoffman show – credits Vogue runway).
