Thierry Mugler : a man with a big heart

Thierry Mugler changed  Cindy Sander ‘s life: wrongly criticized by  two coaches from “la nouvelle star”, he asked her to work for him. 

Thierry Mugler’s World is known for its extravaganza. Aliens, otherworldly and sci-fi creatures are part of it. Thierry Mugler not only designs clothes and develops perfume projects. He also has a show right now, in which talented individuals perform, while wearing his extraordinary creations and outrageous make up.

Three years ago, he decided to recruit a French singer for his show. Here is her story:

This French singer, Cindy Sander had auditioned for la nouvelle star France some years ago.

Despite her immense talent, a jury member called Manoukian told her he didn’t know how “someone could sing like that” and that it was “unacceptable”. Sinclair, another jury member called her music “horrible”.

Cindy didn’t even understand the criticism and this is perfectly understandable: she sang the song her coach chose and the way it was meant to be sang.

Despite Manoukian’s and Sinclair’s criticism, she accepted to come back to la nouvelle star, later on, to perform a song: she was massively applauded and supported by the public.

Mugler thought she was very brave to do so and believed her talent had to be acknowledged, hence he asked her to work for him. He helped Cindy lose some weight. Now, she is very happy and has been working and performing her songs with Mugler’s creations and makeup for 3 years. She is the lead singer and soloist of Mugler’s show in Berlin called “the Wyld”.

Thanks to Mugler, Cindy’s dream is fulfilled. She calls Mugler her dove. Her message: “never give up” and “keep fighting”.
