Autumn trends you’ll fall in love with

Hello everyone I hope you are well.

Today I wanted to share with you my favourite trends for next season.

– Workwear 2.0:

Fall is about bringing a twist to the workwear aesthetic, blending chic and provocation.

Maison Yoshiki Paris favours a deconstructed velvet ensemble, while the brand Oblique Creations combines a red tux and a golden crop top.

Also, Naeem Khan displayed a red ensemble with feathers on top, perfect for a night out.

On the contrary, Tibi suggests wearing a grey tuxedo with an under vest during the day.

-Women of power:

The show of designer Cheney Chan which I attended celebrated female elegance portraying them as modern and confident.

Gabriela Hearst models wore velvet and fur coats while Meruert Tolegen put forward lawyer gowns. Those shows brought to mind Balenciaga vibes.

What’s more, Carolina Herrera’s models enhanced women’s emancipation especially through the « free the nipple » movement. I loved the look composed of a braless worn red turtleneck paired with an asymmetrical skirt, cigarette pants and red stilettos.

-Geometry

The brand Area exhibited a dress with geometrical shapes inspired by the 1960s. The prints bring to mind Yves Saint Laurent and his Picasso inspired outfits as well as artist Vasarely.

What is your favourite outfit?

Let me know.
