Interview with Alan & Jhoe Domingo: twin fitness models

Today, I met Alan and Jhoe Domingo, two fitness models. They are 19 years old and have been modeling for 2/3 years. Their agency is Barcino managment, a Spanish agency, as they are both Spanish and French.

1/La Fashion Bubble: Describe yourself using 3 words

Jhoe: open-minded, happy, ambitious

Alan: open-minded, hesitant, passionate.

2/ LFB: You are twins: what makes you alike and different?

Jhoe: We are alike as we are twins, we do the same studies, share the same passions and group of friends. However, we have a different personality. Alan is well thought out whereas Jhoe is rather impulsive.

3/ LFB: How did you become models?

Alan: One Summer, when we were 16/17 we were walking on the beach with our dad in Malaga. A man saw us and offered a shooting for us. Everything started from there.

4/ LFB: What are the qualities required to be a fitness model?

Alan: a lifestyle

Jhoe: confidence thanks to sport, meeting people

5/LFB: What is your sport routine?

Jhoe and Alan: varied

Alan: we regularly did sports for 2 years and then constantly trained. We do a lot of sport, like fitness.

Jhoe: diligence and bodybuilding

6/LFB: What is your favorite sport?

Alan: bodybuilding

Jhoe: football, swimming, one needs to surpass oneself

Alan and Jhoe: lifestyle is important

7/LFB: What do you eat?

Jhoe: lots of proteins, we mix up our menus, we choose what we eat.

Alan: we manage ourselves. Our agent does not tell us what to eat. We are rather atonomous.

8/ LFB: describe the typical day of a fitness model?

Alan: We are students (laughs). Photographers, brands, other agencies contact us.

Jhoe: We spend a lot of time on social networks. We go to several castings but struggle doing commercials as our agency is in Barcelona. We are looking for agencies in Paris. We worked for Red Bull.

9/LFB: What is your style?

Alan: imprecise, yolo

Jhoe: unusal, different according to my mood, innovative

10/LFB: What is fashion according to you?

Alan: a huge world, it is intertwined with art and extravaganza.

Jhoe: It is a world of opportunities, of innovations, details are important.

11/ LFB: Who inspires you?

Jhoe: my brother (Alan hugs him)

Alan: Nobody, I am more of a self-builder

12/Alan: Why did you choose to interview us?

LFB: Because journalism is my passion and I train doing interviews. You are twins which is something extra and I wanted to have a masculine opinion about fashion. Plus it was an opportunity to know more about fitness models and their affinities with fashion.

What I like about Alan and Jhoe is that they do not show off, they don’t brag about being fitness models. Moreover, they share my opinion about fashion. Our interview was like a normal discussion and we even became friends. Unlike common beliefs, the world of fashion is not just about competition, it is about meeting people who will support you like Jhoe and Alan do with me.
