5 French brands you need to know right now

1/Rouje

Created a year ago by the blogger, model and designer Jeanne Damas, “Rouje” is a brand for posh, delicate, sexy and reffinned girls. Jeanne’s creations are classic Parisian pieces -flare jeans, floral prints, camisoles and elegant dresses- imagined for the women who inspired her.

2/ Keur Paris

Eva Bromberg gave birth to the brand when she was only 21 years old. She wanted to embroider a heart on a t-shirt for her boyfriend to show him how much she cared for him. Her relatives loved it. Then she started to make more of these t-shirts for her friends and to create her own brand. Its aim? Giving to everyone the possibility to get something of their chest.

3/Heimstone

This luxury brand was thought of by Alix Petit and Delphine Delafon -who left later on. It is known for its rock’n’roll vibes, its dresses, leathers and jewels. Heimstone happens to be a mixture of feminity and comfort, in search of quality.

4/Merci

Imagined by Marie-France Cohen, the Merci Store is unlike the others. It is a warm and cozy place with pieces you can afford. What’s more, it is based on fair trade: all profits go to Charity Organisations for women and children in Madagascar.

Write whatever pleases you on this T-shirt, wash it and scribble something new on it. A work of art I tell you.

5/Proêmes de Paris

The brand was dreamed up by Marion Gauban Cammas and Ulysse Meridjen and is highly influenced by literature, poetry as well as philosophy. In fact, the word “Proême” refers to the contracted form of the French nouns “prose” and “poème” (poem).

“Les filles qui lisent sont plus sexy” actually means that “the girls who read are sexier” which I totally agree with. Reading changes everything.
