How to master the velvet trend

Seen on many fashion shows (such as Chloé and Givenchy) and on tons of celebs velvet outfits are this season’s go-to.  Here is a little guide to help you rock the trend.

1.Shoes
Taylor Swift red velvet thigh highs by Stuart Weitzman

I recently discovered this brand which I found lovely. It’s called public desire. I especially went crazy for these boots:

But they have a whole collection dedicated to velvet shoes so if you’d rather buy sandals/other shoes or you’re just curious check it out here:

2.Dress

Hollister velvet baby doll dress. Simply wear a black/white T-shirt underneath and combine two trends in one

(Unfortunately I was unable to find a picture of this dress on their website. It is exactly like the one on the picture below except it is red velvet. I saw it today in a store in Paris (at the Beaugrenelle shopping center in the 15eme arrondissement) it is 45€. Check out the Hollister stores in your country as well it should be there.)

3.T-shirt
I recently bought this T-shirt from Zara for just 16€ and I can’t get enough of it. It goes with everything: leather skirts, skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans… the list is endless…

(I got mine in grey but pink is nice as well)

4.Bag
This Prada bag is gorgeous

Pair it with a white tee and mom jeans and enjoy yourself

If you are filling more casual you can replace this bag with a Sandro rook sac (you can combine it with the outfit mentioned above as well)

What’s your favorite item? How do you rock the trend at home?

Let me know

XO
