Good-bye acne

You were born with perfect skin. Then came puberty. And acne. One question remains. How to get rid of it?

-Tips to prevent it from worsening

1. Wash your face every day with a gentle soap AND always make sure your hands are clean when you do so

2. Always remove your makeup before going to bed

3.Make sure you clean your makeup brushes after applying foundation or concealer… on your face or else you will add bacteria to your skin and will make it break out

4.Try not wearing makeup every day and make it breathe

5.Pay attention to what you eat. I am not saying you should only eat fruits and vegetables. What I mean is eat as healthy as you can. Avoid junk food and sodas as much as you can. You don’t have to stop eating chocolate completely (to me it is impossible). Just don’t eat to much of it.

-Tips to have a clear skin

1. Honey
Just massage a drop of honey on your zit. After a few days, you will start seing an improvement.

2.Aspirin
Take whatever aspirin you have. It can be advil, it can be anything. Mix it with some water to create a paste.  Apply it on your spots. Leave it there for 10 mins to 1 hour. This tip is very effective especially if you have big red spots.

3. Toothpaste
This tip is said to do wonders. I actually never tried it because I am not too keen on applying toothpaste on my face… However celebs like Gigi Hadid or Nicole Scherzinger believe this tip works as it dries the zit out.

4.Garlic
I’ve tried this tip but sadly it didn’t work on me. But as each skin is different you might want to give it a try. It may help you out. Cut a garlic into two and scrub it where needed 15mins. Don’t do that too often as it may irritate your skin (specially if you have a sensitive skin)

5.Camille tea and mint tea
Studies have shown that drinking mint tea and Camille tea for a few months can improve the quality of your skin

6.Ice
This is my favorite tip.  Not only it is known for its unclogging properties but it also reduces redness and swelling. If you have whiteheads this will work too. Simply apply some ice where needed and admire the result.

I use most of these tips in my skin care routine (all except the toothpaste one). They helped me a lot and still do. Some more than the others. As I said before every skin is different. Ice is more effective than garlic on my skin but it might  be the contrary for you.
This tips work for sure but you won’t see perfect results in one day. Like a lot of things in life, only time will make a huge difference.
Tell me which tips worked best on you and which ones you already used before.
