4 key takeaways of PFW

denim

Yesterday, I attended the Concorde fashion show thanks to the PR company Paltot studio.

I was really intrigued by the collection on display.

1. Cotton and stripes

My favourite outfit was made of cotton and stripes, a trendy print at the moment.

I met the model after the show and she told me she tried on several outfits of the collection before settling for this particular one.

2. Crochet

Crochet was another major trend of the show. Models paraded with crochet bags, highlighting this season’s handcrafted trend. Consumers are indeed very receptive to handmade attire.

A model poses in a minimalist setting, wearing a white cropped top with bow details on the straps and light blue high-waisted trousers. She holds a textured red clutch bag.

3. Deconstructed denim

Denim colours were mismatched and the designer played with length. Ultra short or ultra long, the texture was put forward in an avant-garde way recalling Japanese couture.

4. Cool wool workwear

The famous tux and trousers combo was also revisited. A model wore a polo shirt with a matching pair of oversized trousers redefining the codes of workwear.
