2018 trends and must-haves

2018 blends together complementary trends: black pieces, prints, loose and tight clothes. Here are my favorite trends and buys.

1/The Statement belt

This year, many fashion designers dressed up their models with belts in order to enhance their waist. You can rock the trend with a dress like Ellie Saab (see pictures below) or with high-waisted jeans the Bottega Veneta way. I recently received a Swildens belt (see picture above) for my birthday. It is my statement belt at the moment. It’s a must-have as it has spots and leopard prints on it which are two major trends right now.

2/The stripped shirt

Stripped shirt are everywhere: on Paul and Joe models (see picture below), in Zara and Mango stores. I recently bought one at Benetton and it’s my new go-to.

3/High-waisted jeans

High-waisted jeans are in right now and outline your waist. Alexander Wang,Coatch models and Jeanne Damas (see picture below) wore the trend this year. I had high-waisted Hollister jeans for Xmas and they are one of my favorites at the moment.

4/The Black mini bag

Chic and classic, you can carry the trend everywhere. These bags are must-haves for Chloé (first picture below) and Balmain (second picture below). I carry my Celine mini bag everywhere (thank you Grandma) (see pictures above).
